I saw that in the video and discussed on Twitter. It could be argued that refreshing in viewWillAppear was always incorrect (except for the first appearance). Developers who also use iPad are used to the appearance methods not being called when presenting form sheets etc. It worked on iPhone, but kind of as a coincidental side-effect of the presentation being full screen. And now it’s not full screen, so those assumptions fail!
