You could use spotlight to search for “Xcode” and see how many matches come back. Or right click on an Xcode project or workspace file and choose “Open With”. That will show all apps that can open that type of file. There will be quite a few apps other than Xcode, but you should also see entries for all the Xcode versions that are installed.
